I always been into watching boxers of my era the 80 and beyond. Born in 83 I still remember those boxers and fight nights at home. I recently been looking beyond those fighters and ran into Jack Johnson and I’m glad I did. It makes me proud to know our first world champ was bold, confident and not afraid to stand toe to toe with that era of people and system.

If the WBC cares so much why don't you offer your champions insurance or a pension instead of taking sanctioning fees out of their purses? You take a third of their pay just for a gaudy belt you can purchase for a few grand.
